Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Help build color story & fabric ideas and aid in driving seasonal design direction

• Research, identify, and share current industry design trends and competitive reviews as they relate to the brand

• Source and implement cost effective fabrics and techniques

• Building and manage line guides

• Develop tech packs and maintain communication with factories. Visit and communicate with factories when necessary

• Work closely with technical design team/ patternmaker as needed for development

•Manage development of samples from 1st proto through TOP and ensure timely delivery, quality and cost effectiveness of all developed product

• Ability to develop strong, synergistic relationships with a multitude of teams and personnel

Minimum Qualifications:  

• Degree in Apparel Manufacturing, Product Development or Apparel related field

• Photoshop or Illustrator experience

• Knowledge of fabric, apparel, materials, construction and fit

•Strong understanding of apparel design and production process

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior internship or work experience in fashion

• Knowledge of premium and luxury fashion brands
